Following the explosion near the Red Fort, the team behind ‘Cocktail 2’ has reportedly delayed their shoot in Delhi, various news reports confirmed. Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna, who were ready to begin filming the next segment of Homi Adajania’s movie in the capital, have now been forced to postpone their shoot schedule. Originally scheduled to start filming on November 12, the team was expected to continue for a week across various locations in Delhi. However, owing to the current security concerns, the shoot has now been postponed.
Detailed schedule pushed due to multiple factors
According to Hindustan Times, Shahid along with Kriti and Rashmika had planned a detailed schedule in Delhi for seven days starting from November 12. While the air pollution crisis is one of the reasons, the heightened tension after the Delhi blast has also led to the decision.That being said, the Delhi schedule is not cancelled but just pushed back. The makers are now planning to do the shoot in December, if all goes well.

On Monday, a car explosion near the Red Fort metro station tragically took the lives of at least 13 people and injured 21 others, putting the entire city on high alert.
About ‘Cocktail 2’ and its cast
‘Cocktail 2’ is the sequel to the hit 2012 movie ‘Cocktail’, which starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty. It will see Homi Adajania returning to the director’s seat, but with a new lead trio in Shahid, Kriti, and Rashmika.
