    REET Mains examination pattern

    The REET Mains 2025 exam is divided into two levels based on the teaching position. Level 1, for Primary teachers (Classes 1–5), covers Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I and II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies, assessing both subject knowledge and teaching methodology. Level 2, for Upper Primary teachers (Classes 6–8), includes Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I and II, and either Mathematics & Science or Social Science, depending on the candidate’s subject choice, focusing on pedagogical skills and classroom management along with subject expertise.
