The Indian Coast Guard has commenced the recruitment process for Assistant Commandants in the General Duty and Technical branches for the 2027 batch. A total of 170 vacancies have been notified, and the online registration process is currently underway on the official recruitment portal, joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in. For General Duty, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. For Technical posts, applicants must possess an engineering degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical, Marine, Automotive, Mechatronics, Industrial & Production, Metallurgy, Design, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering. Equivalent qualifications recognised by the Institution of Engineers (India) under exemptions from Sections A and B of AMIE will also be accepted.
