NEW DELHI: Nepal and Oman have officially booked their spots in the 2026 T20 World Cup, set to be held in India and Sri Lanka, following their performances in the Asia-EAP Qualifier ahead of their Super Six clash in Al Amerat.A third team from the tournament will also earn qualification for next year’s World Cup.The qualification of Nepal and Oman was confirmed after UAE defeated Samoa by 77 runs, leaving the UAE in third place on the Super Six points table with four points.At the top, Nepal and Oman are leading the standings, separated only by net run rate, highlighting the close contest between the two sides as they prepare for the upcoming stages of the tournament.More to follow …
