The Indian cricket team arrived in Perth around 4 AM IST on October 16 after facing travel delays. Led by Shubman Gill, the squad, including stars Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul, will compete in a three-match ODI series and five T20Is against Australia.The team’s journey was complicated by a four-hour delay at Delhi airport on October 15, which caused further schedule changes during their Singapore stopover. Due to tight security at Perth airport, eager fans couldn’t get close to their cricket heroes. The tired players went straight to their rooms after reaching their hotel.

In it he wrote, “The only time you truly fail, is when you decide to give up.” While the post can be construed as an inspirational post, it can also be an accurate description of Virat Kohli’s mindset.

The right-hander has not played any form of professional cricket since being integral to Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s maiden IPL title winning effort and his last appearance for India came in the Champions Trophy-winning cause.After retiring from T20Is and Tests, both Kohli and Sharma have narrowed their focus to ODIs only. They stepped away from T20Is following India’s T20 World Cup victory in Barbados and retired from Test cricket before the England tour.The upcoming ODI matches against Australia will be played in Perth, Adelaide, and Sydney.
