MP NEET UG counselling 2025: Mop-up round registration deadline extended till October 22; check new schedule here
The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh has once again revised the schedule for the mop-up round of the National Eligibility Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 counselling. As per the updated notification, the last date to register for the mop-up round has been extended to October 22, 2025.Eligible candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS programmes in the state can complete the mop-up round registration process on the official website at dme.mponline.gov.in.According to the updated timeline, the deadline for new registrations, online resignation from previously allotted colleges (round 1 and 2), and submission of the upgradation option is now October 22. Registered candidates will be required to complete choice filling and locking between October 23 and October 25. DME has clarified that fresh choice filling is mandatory for all participants in this round.Candidates who have opted for upgradation in the mop-up round but fail to lock their newly filled choices will retain their previously allotted seats.Those who wish to resign by October 22 will be liable to pay a penalty of Rs 2 lakh for general category candidates and Rs 10 lakh for Non-Resident Indian (NRI) candidates.Meanwhile, the DME has also announced an increase in MBBS seats at Sukh Sagar Medical College, Jabalpur, from 150 to 200, as reflected in the updated National Medical Commission (NMC) NEET UG 2025 seat matrix.

- Select the Mop-up Round Registration link.
- Enter your NEET UG 2025 roll number, application number, and other required details.
- Complete the registration form by entering personal, academic, and contact details.
- Upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format.
- Pay the registration fee through the available online payment options.
- Submit the form and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
