Amid the ongoing legal battle over ex-husband Sunjay Kapur’s estate involving her children, Karisma Kapoor recently responded to an Instagram post commending her courage and strength.

Recently, filmmaker Khalid Mohamed, who directed Karisma in Fiza and wrote the screenplay for Shyam Benegal’s 2001 film Zubeidaa starring her, shared a black-and-white throwback photo of the actress on Instagram. Karisma noticed the post, and reacted to the same. The actor tagged the filmmaker commenting, “Khalid (folded hand, white heart and sparkles emoji).”

Currently, Karisma’s children, Samaira and Kiaan, are involved in an ongoing inheritance dispute. With Karisma as their legal guardian, they have taken Priya Sachdev Kapur to court, challenging the authenticity of Sunjay’s will and alleging it was forged.Samaira and Kiaan claim that their late father had repeatedly assured them of their inheritance, which was missing from his final will. The dispute arose after Priya Sachdev Kapur presented a will, allegedly executed on March 21, during a family meeting on July 30. The case is now being heard in the Delhi High Court, with both sides making multiple allegations against each other.
