Chandigarh NEET PG counselling 2025: Registration window opens at gmch.gov.in, check direct link to apply here
The Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh has released the detailed schedule for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test – Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2025. The registration process for admission to three-year postgraduate courses, including Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS), has officially begun on the college’s website, gmch.gov.in.As per the official notification, candidates can complete the registration process and upload their documents for Chandigarh NEET PG counselling 2025 till November 10 (up to 5 pm). The counselling is being conducted for 79 postgraduate seats, including four seats under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) quota), offered under the state quota. Academic classes for selected candidates will commence from December 8, 2025.
Chandigarh NEET PG counselling 2025: Important dates
The list of candidates with deficiencies in documents will be released between November 11 and 12, after which such candidates will be required to submit their pending certificates on November 13. The final list of eligible candidates for seat allotment will be published on November 15, 2025.
Chandigarh NEET PG counselling 2025: Application fee
Applicants from General, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) categories must pay an application fee of Rs 2,000. For Scheduled Caste (SC), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and third gender candidates, the application fee is Rs 1,000.To be eligible, candidates must have satisfactorily completed their compulsory rotatory internship on or before July 31, 2025.
Chandigarh NEET PG counselling 2025: Documents required
Applicants are required to upload self-attested copies of the following documents during registration:
- Recent passport-size photograph
- Matriculation certificate (as proof of date of birth)
- Detailed marksheet of MBBS Final Part-II Professional Examination
- Internship completion certificate
- National Medical Commission (NMC) or state medical council registration certificate
- NEET PG 2025 result scorecard
- Category certificates (Scheduled Caste, OBC, PwD, or EWS, as applicable) issued by competent authority from UT Chandigarh
- Certificate establishing eligibility for candidates under UT Chandigarh pool as per clause PG-4B
- Notarized affidavit stating non-claim or non-opted residence of any other state or Union Territory, if applicable
- Copy of Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card, if applicable
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from employer, if the candidate is employed in a government, semi-government, autonomous, or corporate body
- Character and conduct certificate from the last attended institution
- Migration certificate, if available
- Any other supporting document applicable to the candidate’s category or eligibility
