Earlier, a petition challenged the inclusion of 10th-grade pass candidates along with ITI holders. The petitioner argued that a short notice issued on December 28, 2024, stated only ITI holders were eligible, and changing eligibility rules on January 2, 2025, was incorrect. The Railways clarified that the December 28 notice was indicative, and the main notification on January 22, 2025, included both 10th-grade and ITI candidates. The court upheld this policy, confirming the eligibility of millions of aspirants who had been waiting for the exam schedule.Exam schedule and city slip releaseThe RRB Group D Computer-Based Test (CBT) was initially scheduled to begin on November 17.
