The Staff Selection Commission has released the city intimation slip for the SSC MTS and CBIC Havaldar Examination 2025 on its official website, ssc.gov.in. Candidates who have registered for the examination can now check their allotted exam city and schedule ahead of the computer based test.The recruitment campaign is being carried out for Multi Tasking Staff and Havaldar vacancies in CBIC and CBN. A total of 7,948 vacancies have been notified in the various ministries, departments, and offices of the Government of India, making it one of the largest recruitment drives in Group C.SSC MTS and Havaldar exam datesAs per the official dates, the computer-based exam for SSC MTS and CBIC Havaldar will be held from February 4, 2026. Candidates were allowed to select their preferred exam slot between January 16 and January 25, 2026, after which the commission issued the city intimation slip.The city slip will notify the candidates about the examination city and date, and the admit card will be published separately. In addition to this, there are 1,138 vacancies for the post of Havaldar. The minimum educational qualification for all posts is Class 10 pass from a recognised board.The age is calculated with reference to August 01, 2025, and age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for reserved categories.Selection process and examination patternThe selection process consists of a computer based examination for all candidates. Applicants for the Havaldar post will also have to qualify a Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test. The physical test includes walking 1,600 metres in 15 minutes for male candidates and 1 kilometre in 20 minutes for female candidates.
