MHT CET 2026: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has issued an official notice for candidates applying to the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2026. The notice informs candidates about relaxation in Aadhaar authentication during the registration process.

Aadhaar authentication update

The State CET Cell has said that some candidates are facing difficulties while completing Aadhaar and APAAR authentication during the MHT CET 2026 registration process. To ensure that no eligible candidate misses the chance to apply, a temporary relaxation has been introduced.

  • Aadhaar authentication will remain the preferred method of verification
  • Candidates who are unable to complete Aadhaar or APAAR authentication can fill and submit the application form without it
  • This facility will be available from February 13, 2026

Candidates who are able to complete Aadhaar authentication are advised to continue with the regular registration process.

Registration deadline extended

The State CET Cell has also extended the registration deadline for the following courses:

  • MHT CET 2026 Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM)
  • MHT CET 2026 Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Master of Management Studies (MMS)

The new last date to apply is February 20, 2026.

MHT CET 2026 PCM and PCB exam dates

  • First attempt: April 6 to April 8, 2026
  • Second attempt: May 9, 2026

MHT CET 2026 MHMCT and MCA updates

The application deadline has also been extended for:

  • Master of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (MHMCT)
  • Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
  • Last date to apply: February 18, 2026
  • MHMCT exam date: March 25, 2026
  • MCA exam date: March 30, 2026

Eligible candidates can submit their MHT CET 2026 application forms on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.

Candidates are advised to:

  • Read all instructions carefully before filling the form
  • Complete the registration within the revised deadlines
  • Use Aadhaar authentication if possible, but proceed without it if facing technical issues
