The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer key for Session 1 of Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2026. Candidates who appeared for the January session can now check the final answers on the official website. The result is expected to be declared shortly. The final answer key has been prepared after reviewing the objections raised by candidates against the provisional key. Based on this final version, the scores will be calculated and the result will be prepared. Students are advised to keep their application number and date of birth ready to check their score once it is announced.

The final answer key for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 is now available on the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA had earlier released the provisional answer key and invited objections from candidates within a given deadline. Subject experts reviewed all the challenges submitted by students.After verification, necessary changes have been made. The revised and final answer key has now been published. Number of questions dropped in final answer key
According to the final answer key released by the National Testing Agency (NTA), a total of nine questions have been dropped in JEE Main 2026 Session 1 (Paper 1 – BE/BTech).These questions were removed after subject experts reviewed the objections raised by candidates against the provisional answer key. After evaluation, the agency decided to drop the disputed questions.As per NTA rules, if a question is dropped, full marks are awarded to all candidates who attempted that question. In some cases, even candidates who were present in the exam may receive the benefit, depending on the official marking policy.The dropped questions are spread across different shifts of the January session. The final scores and percentiles will be calculated after considering these revisions.
