The Bar Council of India (BCI) has extended the registration deadline for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 20 till October 31, 2025. The last date for payment of fees and correction in the registration form has also been revised to November 1, 2025.The AIBE 20 is a qualifying exam that enables law graduates to obtain a Certificate of Practice, allowing them to practice law across Indian courts. The examination will be held on November 30, 2025.Candidates who have completed their LL.B. from a recognised law school and are enrolled with a State Bar Council are eligible to apply. AIBE 20: Eligibility criteria
To apply for AIBE 20, candidates must:
- Hold a three-year or five-year LL.B. degree from a recognised institution.
- Be enrolled with a State Bar Council under Section 24(1)(f) of the Advocates Act, 1961.
- Have a valid enrollment number issued by the State Bar Council.
- There is no upper age limit for appearing in the examination.
Note: The passing percentage is fixed at 45% for General/OBC candidates and 40% for SC/ST and Disabled candidates.

AIBE 20: Admit card and exam details
