‘Kesari Chapter 2’
This powerful drama follows Sir C. Sankaran Nair (played by Akshay Kumar), a fearless lawyer who took on the British empire in the 1920s to fight for justice after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Facing off against him is R. Madhavan, playing a lawyer defending the British.
Ananya Panday steps into the role of Dilreet Gill, a bold female lawyer who breaks stereotypes by standing up for Indian rights in a courtroom dominated by men. The trailer gives a glimpse into the struggles Indians faced under British rule, battling injustice and ridicule. The film will hit cinemas on April 18, 2025.
