Ducati has brought its new Streetfighter V2 to India. The model houses a new 890 cc, 90-degree V2 engine that meets Euro5+ rules and produces 120 hp at 10,750 rpm and 93.3 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm. A race-spec exhaust from Ducati’s accessories kit can raise peak power to 126 hp while cutting weight by 4.5 kg for track use.Ducati has engineered the new V2 mill to be compact and light. The engine weighs 54.4 kg and is used as a stressed element in a monocoque frame, a layout that helps keep the Streetfighter family’s weight low. Ducati lists the dry weight at 175 kg for the V2 S and 178 kg for the standard V2, making this the lightest Streetfighter the brand has produced so far.The Streetfighter V2 uses a double-sided swingarm inspired by the Panigale V4 and is shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres. Braking is handled by Brembo M50 monobloc calipers working on 320 mm front discs. The standard V2 comes with a fully adjustable Marzocchi fork and a Kayaba rear shock, while the V2 S upgrades to fully adjustable Öhlins NIX-30 front forks and an Öhlins rear shock.

Electronics are derived from Ducati’s SuperSport systems and centre on a 6-axis IMU. The bike features cornering ABS with a slide-by-brake function, predictive Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, Engine Brake Control and the second-generation Ducati Quick Shift (DQS 2.0). The model offers four riding modes: Race, Sport, Road and Wet. As for instrumentation, it gets a 5-inch TFT display that offers three layouts for road and track use.Ducati will offer several accessories and extras for owners who want to tune the bike for the road or the track. Options include a racing exhaust that boosts power and reduces weight, the Lap Timer Pro, cruise control, a turn-by-turn navigator, a USB socket and a TPMS sensor. The six-speed gearbox pairs with an oil-bath slipper clutch and DQS 2.0 for quick, precise shifts.The Streetfighter V2 and V2 S are available in Ducati Red in India from 27 November 2025. The standard Streetfighter V2 is priced at Rs 17.50 lakh, ex-showroom, and the fully equipped Streetfighter V2 S at Rs 19.49 lakh, ex-showroom. The V2 S adds Öhlins suspension, a lithium-ion battery, Ducati Power Launch and a pit limiter, while tipping the scales at a listed wet weight of 175 kg without fuel.With a compact new V2 engine, a lightweight chassis and a rich electronics package, Ducati positions the Streetfighter V2 as a sport naked that brings superbike DNA to more usable road manners. The optional race exhaust and accessory list make it easy for owners to move the bike closer to track specification when they want to push it harder.
