Hero MotoCorp has added a new variant to its electric scooter portfolio with the launch of the Vida VX2 Go 3.4 kWh, priced at Rs 1.02 lakh, ex-showroom. With this, Hero will further aim to strengthen its foothold in the growing EV scooter segment, where the TVS iQube 3.5 kWh is already a strong contender. Here’s a quick look at how these two models stack up against each other.

The new Vida VX2 Go 3.4 kWh variant comes equipped with a 3.4 kWh dual-removable battery setup. Hero claims a real-world range of up to 100 km on a single charge. The electric motor produces 8 hp and 26 Nm of torque, enabling a top speed of 70 kmph. The scooter also offers Eco and Ride modes.In comparison, the TVS iQube 3.5 kWh features a slightly larger battery that delivers an IDC-claimed range of 145 km. However, the real-world range is typically lower. The electric motor here makes 6 hp and 33 Nm of torque. This EV can achieve a top speed of up to 78 kmph.

Feature-wise, the VX2 Go offers a 4.3-inch digital display, smartphone connectivity via the My VIDA app, navigation, music control, and call alerts. The scooter also features LED lighting, regenerative braking, and removable battery packs that can be conveniently charged at home.On the other hand, the iQube features a 7-inch TFT touchscreen with SmartXonnect offering navigation and call/message alerts, an HMI joystick, 950W offboard charger, Q-Park assist, regen braking, and 32L under-seat storage.

The Hero Vida VX2 3.4 kWh version has been priced at Rs 1.02 lakh, ex-showroom. Under Hero’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, customers can opt for the VX2 Go 3.4 kWh variant at an initial cost of Rs 60,000, paying Rs 0.90 per km under a subscription plan. Meanwhile, the TVS iQube 3.5 kWh version has been priced at Rs 1.15 lakh, effective, on-road Delhi.
