The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results of the CA May 2025 examinations for Foundation, Intermediate, and Final levels. Alongside the result, the institute has also released the list of top rank holders in each category. Rajan Kabra has emerged as the All India Rank 1 (AIR 1) holder in the CA Final, scoring an impressive aggregate and securing the top spot nationwide.

ICAI CA May 2025: Pass percentage overview across all levels

The CA May 2025 exam results reflect the rigorous nature of the Chartered Accountancy course, with moderate pass percentages across all levels. In the CA Final, 22.38% of candidates cleared Group 1, while 26.43% passed Group 2. However, only 18.75% managed to clear both groups together, indicating that fewer than one in five candidates could successfully complete the Final level in one go.Also See: ICAI CA Result May 2025 announced for Foundation, Intermediate, and Final examsAt the Intermediate level, Group 1 recorded a pass rate of 14.67%, whereas Group 2 performed better with a 21.51% success rate. Only 13.22% of candidates cleared both groups simultaneously, continuing the trend of Group 2 yielding relatively better results.In the CA Foundation exam, the overall pass rate stood at 15.09%. A closer look at the gender-wise performance reveals that 13.80% of female candidates passed, compared to 16.26% of male candidates. These figures collectively underscore the highly competitive and challenging nature of the CA examination process.
