KVS and NVS recruitment 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon conclude the online registration process for the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) recruitment 2025. Candidates who have not yet applied are advised to complete the application form at the earliest, as the submission window for Notification 01/2025 will close on 04 December 2025.The recruitment drive, conducted by the Board on behalf of KVS and NVS, aims to fill 14,967 teaching and non-teaching vacancies across schools and administrative units nationwide. The application portal went live on 14 November 2025, and, according to the Board, the system has been operating without technical interruptions.

Applicants should note that age criteria vary by post, and relaxations will be applicable as per Government of India rules. The reference date for age calculation is 04 December 2025.
CBSE issues clarification amid high application volume
With more than 11 lakh applications already submitted, the Board recently issued an advisory addressing recurring queries from candidates. Many applicants reported difficulties with qualification selection on the portal.The Board clarified that the eligibility requirements for several posts differ between KVS and NVS, even if the post titles appear similar. Multiple qualification choices are therefore displayed in the dropdown menu, and selecting a non-matching qualification results in the system blocking further progress.CBSE emphasised that this is not a technical error, and candidates must choose the qualification exactly as stated in the notification.Read the detailed official notification available here.
Fee payment concerns
The Board also reiterated that if the payment status does not update automatically, candidates must make the payment again. As outlined in Instruction No. 16 of the notification, any earlier failed transaction will be refunded to the candidate’s bank account within a week.
