Mahindra’s latest special edition SUV, the BE 6 Batman Edition, has smashed records by selling out all 999 units within just 135 seconds of bookings opening today at 11 AM. The model, unveiled on August 14, 2025, had originally been planned as a 300-unit limited run, but overwhelming demand pushed Mahindra to increase production more than threefold. Even then, the expanded allocation disappeared in barely over two minutes.

Priced at Rs 27.79 lakh, ex-showroom, the Batman Edition costs Rs 89,000 more than the standard Pack Three variant it is based on. It packs the same 79 kWh battery and electric motor combination, producing 286 hp and 380 Nm of torque, along with an ARAI-certified range of 682 km on a single charge.
What makes this SUV truly unique is Mahindra’s official collaboration with Warner Bros., marking the first time Batman has inspired a production vehicle. The design pays tribute to Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy, with a satin black exterior, gloss-black body cladding, and exclusive Batman decals. Gold-painted suspension springs, brake calipers, and multiple Bat emblems scattered across the body complete the striking look.Inside, the cabin mirrors the theme with a dual-tone black finish, gold stitching, a numbered edition plaque, and Batman logos spread across the seats, dashboard, and even the steering wheel’s boost button. Other highlights include ambient lighting, a themed welcome animation on the digital cluster, and a unique Batman start-up sound, while the panoramic sunroof features a massive bat logo.Bookings were available with a Rs 21,000 token amount, and deliveries are scheduled to begin on September 20, which fittingly coincides with International Batman Day.
