Mahindra XUV 3XO gains new feature, first SUV under Rs12 lakh to offer it: Details
Mahindra & Mahindra has added another feather to its cap with the XUV 3XO REVX A, now becoming the first SUV priced under Rs 12 lakh, ex-showroom, to feature Dolby Atmos. The company says that it is global first in the compact SUV segment, bringing premium in-car audio technology to a more accessible price point.
Mahindra XUV 3XO: Now equipped with Dolby Atmos
For the unversed, Dolby Atmos was originally designed for cinema and createss a three-dimensional soundstage by adding depth and detail to music. The technology is integrated into the XUV 3XO’s infotainment system, with streaming support available via platforms such as Gaana.
The feature isn’t limited to the new REVX A variant. AX5L, AX7, and AX7L trims will also offer Dolby Atmos. While the standard setup uses a six-speaker system tuned for the SUV’s cabin, the AX7L adds a subwoofer. Deliveries of these variants with Dolby Atmos will begin from mid-September 2025.The XUV 3XO becomes the fourth Mahindra model line to get Dolby Atmos, following the BE 6 and XEV 9e electric SUVs, and the Thar Roxx. Beyond audio, the XUV 3XO continues to offer a wide range of features, including a sunroof, touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, parking sensors, and multiple safety features. Engine options include a 1.2-litre turbo petrol unit and a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel.
