A video circulating on social media shows Malaika sporting the Rajasthan Royals jersey, fueling curiosity among fans.
Sangakkara, who previously served as Royals’ head coach for multiple seasons, now continues as their director of cricket. Ahead of IPL 2025, he was replaced by Rahul Dravid as head coach. The Sri Lankan cricket legend also played for Punjab Kings (formerly Kings XI Punjab), Deccan Chargers, and SunRisers Hyderabad during his IPL career.
