‘Manju Warrier first raised conspiracy claim’, says Dileep; Actor accuses police of fabricating case |
Hours after being acquitted in the actress-assault case, actor Dileep launched a fierce attack against his ex-wife Manju Warrier and the police, accusing them of orchestrating a conspiracy to destroy him. As reported by Manorama News, speaking to the media soon after the court discharged him as the eighth accused, Dileep claimed that Manju was the first person to demand an investigation into a “criminal conspiracy,” and that statement marked the beginning of a plotted move against him.
According to Dileep, a senior police official and a group of selected officers from the criminal police formed a team that was “determined to fix him” as an accused. He alleged that the police fabricated a false narrative with the help of other accused who were then in jail, and that the story was amplified on social media through friendly journalists and media outlets.
Dileep says it was a planned attempt to destroy his life
Dileep stated that the intention behind the conspiracy was not only to implicate him in the case, but also to systematically damage his career and reputation. “They tried to destroy my career, my image, and my life in society. That was the real conspiracy here,” he declared. He stressed that the plot was designed to turn public opinion against him even before trial proceedings had begun.
Fabricated story and social media campaign
The actor alleged that the police-constructed false story was deliberately circulated online to create pressure and portray him as guilty in the eyes of the public. Dileep claimed that certain media houses knowingly supported the police narrative and continued to propagate it for years, causing immense personal and professional damage.
Gratitude after verdict and reactions
Expressing emotional gratitude, Dileep thanked his family members, lawyers, colleagues and “millions who prayed silently without knowing anything.”The trial court acquitted Dileep after noting that the alleged conspiracy involving him could not be proven.
