Veteran actor and comedian Mushtaq Khan, known for working in many films with Salman Khan, recently shared his experience of working with the superstar. He praised Salman for being humble and recalled how the actor once gave all the money he had to a woman in need. Mushtaq also remembered how Salim Khan, Salman’s father, once wanted his son to join theatre.
Salim Khan’s Wish for Salman to Join Theatre
While speaking to Filmymantra Media, Mushtaq revealed that Salim Khan once wanted Salman to do theatre. According to Mushtaq, Salim hoped that performing on stage would help Salman become more expressive and open up, so he even asked Mushtaq to find a suitable opportunity for him.
Salman’s Dedication and Sincerity as a Newcomer
He further recalled working with Salman for the first time in Ek Ladka Ek Ladki and praised his sincerity as a newcomer. He shared that Salman would quietly observe him on set, showing a strong eagerness to learn and a dedicated attitude right from the beginning.

Salman’s Bond with the Crew and Cooking for Everyone
Mushtaq fondly remembered how Salman would bond with everyone on set, often cooking for them. He shared that on the sets of Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, Salman would make eggs for the crew and invite them to his room. He would cook according to their preferences and even address them as “sir.”

Salman Khan’s Generosity in Action
He also recalled a time when he witnessed the superstar’s generosity firsthand. He shared that a woman came asking for help, and without hesitation, Salman took out his wallet and gave her all the money he had. He even encouraged Mushtaq and Johnny Lever to contribute, though Mushtaq didn’t have any money on him. Despite not having much, Salman gave everything he could in that moment.
