New-gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire Tour S launched: Safest cab with six airbags!
Maruti Suzuki launched the next-generation Dzire a few months ago. The new Dzire features a new design, new features, improved safety and much more. And now, the company has launched the new Dzire Tour S priced at Rs 6.79 lakh for the Petrol variant and Rs 7.74 lakh for the Petrol+CNG variant (both prices ex-showroom). Interested commercial operators can book the car online or by visiting their nearest dealership, deliveries are expected to begin soon.
Some rumours were stating that the new generation Dzire will be kept specifically for private buyers. Five months after its launch, the company has launched the 2025 Tour S is a taxi-specific version of the new Dzire, featuring the same design but optimized for commercial use. It features a black front grille with halogen projector headlights, LED tail lamps, sharkfin antenna, black ORVMs and door handles and 14-inch steel wheels. It’s offered in three colour options – White, Silver and Black.
In terms of features, it gets a dual-tone interior, manual AC with digital screen, all-four power windows, driver window auto up/down with anti-pinch, central locking, remote key, gear-shift indicator in MID and more. Safety-wise, it gets six airbags, reverse parking sensors, a rear defogger, 3-point seat belts, ESP, hill hold assist, ABS, EBD, ISOFIX mounts and more.
Talking about the powertrain, it’s powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, NA petrol engine which puts out 81.6 PS of power and 111.7 Nm torque. In CNG mode, the same engine produces 69.7 PS of power and 101.8 Nm torque. It’s offered only with a 5-speed manual gearbox and has claimed fuel efficiency of 26.06 kmpl in petrol and 34.30 kmpl in CNG.
