Punjab NEET PG counselling 2025: Round 1 schedule out at bfuhs.ac.in, check key dates and other details here
The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot has begun the registration process for Punjab NEET PG counselling 2025. This process is being conducted for admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Postgraduate (PG) Diploma, and Diplomate of National Board (DNB) seats in medical colleges across the state.This year, admission to the PG Diploma in Sports Medicine at Netaji National Institute of Sports, Patiala, will also be carried out through the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) score.The BFUHS released the Punjab NEET PG round 1 counselling schedule shortly after the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced the national-level counselling schedule on October 28, 2025, at mcc.nic.in.
Punjab NEET PG counselling 2025: Registration and eligibility
Candidates applying under the Punjab state quota are required to register on the official website, bfuhs.ac.in, by November 3, 2025. The university will publish the Punjab NEET PG merit list 2025 on November 6, after verifying the eligibility of candidates who have applied under the minority quota.Applicants seeking admission under the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) quota must first obtain an eligibility certificate from BFUHS before completing the registration process. The NRI application form has been made available separately on the official portal.The verification of candidates applying under the Christian minority and Sikh minority quotas will be conducted on November 4 at the following centres:
- Christian Medical College, Ludhiana – for Christian minority candidates
- Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Amritsar – for Sikh minority candidates
Punjab NEET PG counselling 2025 : Application fee details
Here’s a look at the application fee structure for different categories under Punjab NEET PG 2025 counselling:
- General category candidates: ₹5,000 + 18% GST = ₹5,900
- Scheduled Caste (SC) category candidates: ₹2,500 + 18% GST = ₹2,950
- NRI candidates: USD 1,500 (or equivalent in Indian Rupees) via Demand Draft payable in favour of Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot
