Featured in a video shared on one of the leading OTT platform’s YouTube channel, the actor recounted: “Taimur is doing a school play, and he said, ‘Mujhe bahut darr lagta hai, Abba, logon ke saamne. Maine bola mujhe dialogues nahi bolne hain’ (I get scared in front of people, Dad. I said I don’t want to recite any dialogues).”
Taimur’s understanding of stardomEven though he was very scared, his performance received positive feedback from the audience. Jaideep asked Saif how fame affects him. Saif explained, “I think he is just used to it. And I hope he realises that we are quite down to earth and normal.” He added, “It’s a lovely job and you shouldn’t take yourself too seriously.”The ‘Race’ actor opened up about his own upbringing in a privileged family, with his father, cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, and mother, veteran actress Sharmila Tagore. He added that both of them were stars, yet they were strict and maintained a normal environment at home. He said such a grounded upbringing had a strong influence on him.
