Salman Khan slams rumours about his work ethics that scare people from working with him: 'Once I'm on set, I don't even sit'

Salman Khan is one of the biggest superstars of the country who has been in the industry for more than three decades. The superstar known for his swag and on-screen presence says, that people are scared when they hear stories about his work ethics which are not true. He opened up on rumours about his discipline and him being late on set.
“There are many stories about me coming late and not being serious about my work. I have done more than 100 films, more than anyone else apart from my senior actors. It wouldn’t be possible to achieve this if I were constantly late or leaving early. There is a discipline 100 per cent, but my timings are as such. Some people start working at 6 am, I start around 11:30- 12 because I’ve got a lot of other work to do, like signing a lot of papers, making calls, and working out. Then I have to come back, relax, have my coffee, and understand the scene. She (Rashmika) knows that once I am there on the set, I don’t even go back to the van or even sit. They set up a tent wherever needed, and I stay there,” said Salman in an interview with India Today.
He further added that such rumours and stories make people scared about working with the star. “I have friends who would like to share these moments that I have my timings. For them, it’s like complimenting me, but then what happens with that is you’re scaring people away from working with me. It gives the impression that I don’t have to put in much effort. They feel that ‘He just stands, goes, and does his own thing.’ But that’s not true,” he said.
The actor added that he puts in a lot of hard work but that’s not visible to people. His mind is always involved on work and how he would do a particular scene.
Rashmika Mandanna who shared screen space with Salman in Sikandar, was also with him in this interview. She echoed his sentiment and said, “This is the reality and I don’t understand why there’s so much commotion around.”
