Ultraviolette Tesseract e-scooter zooms to 50,000 bookings in just two weeks: Details

Bengaluru-based startup Ultraviolette Automotive recently launched the Ultraviolette Tesseract electric scooter in the Indian market. The Tesseract is priced at Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory for first 50,000 customers). Once the introductory offer is over, the company will raise the price to Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom).

The bookings for the e-bike are already underway and the company received 20,000 bookings within 48 hours. And now, the company has announced that it has received over 50,000 bookings in two weeks. Interested customers can book the e-bike online or by visiting the dealership, booking amount is set at Rs 999 and deliveries are scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2026. By this, we can also learn that the introductory price of Rs 1.25 lakh is over since the e-scooter has crossed 50,000 bookings. From now on, the scooter retails at Rs 1.45 lakh (both prices ex-showroom).

The Tesseract is the first electric scooter from the company and features a futuristic design with lots of tech and features. The e-scooter features a 20.1bhp electric motor and offers a certified range of up to 261km per charge. According to Ultraviolette, the scooter can accelerate from 0 to 60kmph in just 2.9 seconds. It will be available with three battery options—3.5kWh, 5kWh, and 6kWh—each providing different range capabilities based on capacity.

In terms of features, the Tesseract gets segment-first dual radars and front and rear cameras that enable advanced safety functions like blind spot detection, overtake alerts, and collision warnings. It comes equipped with a dual LED-projector headlamp with floating DRLs, along with a large TFT touchscreen display integrated with the Violette AI connectivity suite and ride analytics. Additional features include keyless access, park assist, hill hold, cruise control, navigation, and music control, enhancing both convenience and riding experience. The scooter rides on 14-inch wheels and offers 34 litres of under-seat storage, designed to fit a full-face helmet.

For safety, the Ultraviolette Tesseract is equipped with disc brakes on both wheels, complemented by dual-channel ABS, a traction control system, and dynamic stability control for enhanced rider confidence.
