Eligibility criteria and age requirements
The UPPSC has issued discipline-specific qualifications for all posts. Candidates must ensure they meet the academic and age criteria before applying.
Engineering and Technology Disciplines
Candidates must possess any one of the following:
- First-class B.E./B.Tech/B.S. degree in the relevant engineering branch, OR
- First-class Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in the concerned subject.
Non-Engineering (Science and Humanities)
- First-class Master’s degree in the respective discipline (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, etc.).
Architecture
- B.Arch, OR
- A 4-year first-class degree in Architecture or related allied fields.

Application fee
The application fee for the UPPSC Polytechnic Lecturer Recruitment 2025 varies by category. Candidates belonging to the Unreserved, Other Backward Classes, and Economically Weaker Section categories must pay ₹225. Those in the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories are required to pay ₹105, while candidates with Persons with Disabilities status need to pay ₹25. Exam pattern and selection process
